Candy has designed a quick and easy way to display her 12 x 12 challenge quilts. The quilts are removable from the backing so as to allow for a varied and/or rotating display 🙂 Here’s how she does it:
1) The backing is simply a paint canvas, the kind available at craft stores, and can be painted or left white.
2) Apply a strip of self-adhesive velcro to the canvas.
3) Sew or fuse a nappy fabric strip to the back of the quilt.
4) Finger press the quilt onto the backing. Voila!

What a great way to show off small wall quilts and create impact with a group display. That’s smart art!
