Lucky Lady

I’ve had my share of good fortune. One friend has said I’m the luckiest person she knows 🙂
Admittedly, I do make the occasional umm, semi-regular casino foray, where a win can be lots of fun and makes for a great story (which I then usually like to tell!), but I’ve had luck in other areas too.
In 2000 I won a trip to England from a radio station. All I had to do was listen for the song of the day, be the right caller when it played to then become eligible for the grand prize drawing, and ultimately win the draw – which I did! So I know that good things can happen if you just put yourself out there.
With that in mind I decided to follow through on an idea, a dream really, by submitting an article proposal to Quilting Arts magazine. And, drumroll please ………
It was accepted! Our little group of NICU quilters with our themed challenge quilts will be featured in an upcoming issue of the magazine! Wow. This is exciting… and going to be so fun 🙂 We are one group of lucky ladies.
Good things really can happen if you dare to stretch and dream and do.
