A Little Of This, A Little Of That

I’m currently at the end of day three out of four glorious days off. I mean real days off. There are no kids at home anymore, the Hubs is out of town, and except for the dog, (and cat, but she’s easy) it’s just me, myself and I.

Oh, the plans I had! No cooking (rare anyway), no cleaning until Friday, maybe a movie, and sew, sew, sew! I was ambitiously certain of my ability to finish  1) the newest “T” For Three Challenge quilt,  2) my sweet “Angel” quilt,  3) a sundress, and  4) get a good start on a modern design quilt.

Here’s what I have accomplished so far:

The “Teeny Tiny” quilt is done! And because I can’t resist,

here is a sneak peek…

I’ve put in a couple of hours hand quilting on my Angel – with monofilament thread – not the easiest task.

The sundress is coming along, just a zipper and some finishing left to do.

I have sketches for a modern quilt and fabric ideas.

Along with the above I have enjoyed an evening with my daughter, a delicious afternoon nap, the aforementioned movie, and reading on the back porch. A little of this and a little of that has added up to a lot of just what I like best.
